Get rid of your Bank to Get rid of Bank Account Fees

Fees -

I've banked with Chase since I was 10 years old. Chase charged my wife another service fee for letting them hold her money in one of their savings accounts. This was the fifth time they've charged a service fee on one of our accounts in the past seven months. This was supposedly another "error". They seem to have a lot of those. Needless to say, we're getting fed up with Chase and their fees in the past 6 months or so.

Every one of my credit cards has had either an APR increase or a credit line reduction between Chase and B of A. Did I mention I have a 770 credit score? This shouldn't be happening.

USAA just sent me $115 back on our auto insurance policy as a "member reward".

Today, I've opened up a checking and savings account, as well as opened a credit card with USAA and transferred all my balances to that card. I'm putting my business where I feel valued and respected. There's no reason to be loyal to a company that doesn't give a flip about me.
